Huge Agricultural Expo to hit the Western Cape

Dr Shadrack Moephuli, President and CEO of the Agricultural Research Council (ARC) and Mr Orton King, the Group Executive Director of Agri Mega Group; are pleased to announce that the ARC and Agri Mega have joined hands in order to present the one of the biggest annual agricultural expos in the Western Cape, called the Bien Donne Agri Cape Week.

The current annual agricultural expo of the ARC, Bien Donné and the current annual agricultural expo of Agri Mega, the Agri Cape Week, share the same vision of providing a growth and development platform and window for the vegetable, fruit, wine and grape industries of agriculture in the national arena. These two well-known expos in the region; have joined forces in order to establish one extensive expo in the Western Cape.

The parties have signed a memorandum of agreement that encompasses all the strong points and primary attributes of both events in order to maximise the benefits that will accrue to the industries, further the expo’s goals and objectives of both parties in the ever evolving agricultural sector. The Bien Donné Agri Cape Week will be held at the ARC Bien Donné site outside Stellenbosch for the duration of the agreement.

Bien Donné Agri Cape Week 2011 promises to be the answer that industry as a whole, has been waiting for. The expo will start from the 4th to the 6th May 2011.
